Latest purchases

I can finally show you pictures! Yay! And what's better than showing you what I bought lately?
It's not properly a haul, since not everything was bought on the same shopping trip, but still...

The Catrice nail polish is 04 Artful Red, from the Viennart LE. I'm gonna try it this evening, so be ready for a review! The silver one of this LE was also promising, but I only got the red for now.
The foundation is Pupa Made To Last in Ivory (lightest shade) and I got it with the special 10 euros coupon (so I paid 10 euros something that costed almost 20, a real bargain) and I am absolutely loving it, it feels wonderful, lighweight despite the very good coverage and it's really great. I'm not a foundation expert but I could post a review of it as well.
The brush is from H&M, and I am loving it, I use it to apply the Pupa foundation and it works perfectly.
The two Kiko products were the result of an afteroon with my boyfriend, the 30% discount coupon and a lot of patience and help from him xD I ended getting only two products, even if I initally had four of them in my hands. I have chosen the eyeliner in the colour 107, because it was (and is) an important element in my makeup routine and I used it so much that I finished one (I never finished a black eyeliner, for comparison). Whenever I don't know what to wear I choose it, maybe paired with a blue mascara as well. I think it compliments my eyes fairly well and it's really long lasting.
The eye pencil is from the Daring Game LE, I've been craving it since the first time I saw this LE, which was in august, so I waited quite a lot! The shade is 29, Irresistible teal. I can't wait to wear it, since I've been rediscovering the beauty of a dark eye makeup.
I don't have much makeup here yet, I plan on bringing more of it when I go back at my parents' next weekend. I am definitely in need of some brushes!
That's all for now!
Bought anything interesting recently?

H&M Foundation & Blush brush

Nail polish is Essence's Elves Like Lilac
I haven't written anything here for a while, I know, but exams take up a lot of time and I didn't even have the time to prepare some planned posts before.
I still want to review one of the latest brushes I bought, I've used it for more than a month now and I can tell you truly what I think.
I wanted to try a foundation brush, I was kinda tired of using my finger, I don't like having my finger dirty with foundation when I have to yet finish my makeup, and I wanted to get a better application.
Design-wise it's very nice, the handle is ivory-colored, and it has an overall cute feel.-
The foundation part is a typical cat's tongue foundation brush, I can get a good application and I have no complaints about it. The bristles are very dense but can be "stressed" (es to wash them) but they'll not lose their shape.
The blush part is so fluffy! I wanted to rub my cheeks with it for hours. It's a very good brush and it's perfect for powder brushes like the ones by Neve Cosmetics. I usually use it for the bronzer.

So far, I have no complaints... apart from one. It's annoying and hard to wash foundation away from a brush that is of a very similar color. I have a hard time trying to understand whetere it's actually clean.
Would I recommend it? It depends on your patience in cleaning it xD.

Make Up Moments: My Brushes

Brushes are important for make up, so lemme show you mine!
I tried three E.L.F. brushes first a long time ago, the first three ones, the Complexion Brush, the Small Precision Brush and the Eyeshadow "C" Brush. I had a great experience with those: they're soft and I've cleaned them with marseille soap for more than a year and they've never lost a bristle or their shape.
Months ago my sister gave me the Blush Brush as a gift, I really needed it since I suck at applying blush with my fingers (at least the cream ones). Recently I ordered more brushes, you can see the Angled Contour Brush, the Contour Brush and the Small Angled brush. I only tried the last one and it works perfectly for cream eyeliners.
And the other brush you see under them is a H&M brush: I used to think I didn't need an eyelashes/eyebrow brush but mascara clumps are annoying...

Overall i definitely recommend E.L.F brushes, have I mentioned they are ridiculously cheap for the quality? They should be 4.50 euros each, but their website has sales very often, so you can get them for half the price quite easily.
